Bailey Saliwanchik was born and raised in the forests of Maine, but currently resides in the brick walls of Brooklyn. Her movement between these spaces has left her craving the calm and beauty of the order in nature, but fascinated by its ever tenuous relationship with the systems of the human world. Her work, despite its subject matter, is always an exercise in gracefully entwining these opposing forces.
